Only 50 years ago the Company was a small sawmill, today Binder Holz represents one of the most solid and dynamic Austrian industrial manufacturers operating in the wood sector on the international market, a cutting-edge enterprise in terms of technique and production.
There are five consolidated production centres - Fügen, Jenbach, St. Georgen, Hallein and Unternberg - and more than 1,300 workers are actively employed in the new sawmill at Kösching/Interpark in Bavaria. The vast production range also includes the innovative structural multi-layer panels for walls and ceilings (BBS), together with the traditional offer of sawn timber, matchboards, single/multilayer panels, pellets, briquettes, laminated beams and Medium Density Fibreboard (MDF).
